This was another toughie. Looks simple, right? Well, I did have a nice swirly bottom that looked like ocean on a more blue background. A cartoonish boat might have looked cute, but that nice realistic looking thing did not. Just sayin’. Morgann agreed with me. I like agreeable people.
Here’s the Sketch…
It’s a basic sketch. I seem to have trouble with those.
Ingredients
Stamps- SU Sailboat/Lighthouse & SU Watercolor Trio
Ink- SU Night of Navy
Paper- Gina K Pure Luxury and SU assorted scraps
Accessories- None
Tools- Colored Pencils
Adhesive- ATG tape, SU Dimensionals
I decided to quit putting the Stampin’ Up links in my posts because I found out that they aren’t linking you to my demonstrator’s name like I tried. Grr. What’s the point then? Anyone can go to SU themselves without me searching out all that stuff!
Sailing, sailing, over the ocean blue… 🙂
Oh goodness! I need this one.
Need is relative… or is it a relative that needs it?
It’s hard to find a card that would be acceptable to send to a man—I’ve got a couple of cousins that could use this one right now . . . . .
I know some people who would love that one! (BTW I like it too!)
A great “man” card!
I can’t imagine why you would have issues with basic sketches. 😉 I agree with Sharton, nice man’s card.
I think the envelope with the light house is great with this card!
