SC107- Succinctly Prayerful

It’s been a while since I’ve worked on sketches. You know the whole Christmas and celebratory things… sigh. But, the fun part is opening up new stamps that I’ve never used. I fell in love with this sentiment when Tamijo made a cool card from it. So, I bought it. I swear, stamp companies should give SCS a cut of their profits… I can’t be the only one who buys stamps that I wouldn’t have otherwise seen because someone made something from it.

Ingredients

Stamps- Our Daily Bread “Prayer”
Paper- SU Rustiness, DCWV “Curio”
Ink- SU Burgundy
Accessories- SU Cream Seam Binding, Buttons
Tools- SU Corner Punch, Big Shot, Nestabilities Labels 10,
Adhesive- ATG Gun, SU Dimensionals, SU mini dots

I’ve had a few people ask me how I get a good knot in a bow or knot.  It’s really hard to describe, but one thing I have learned is if it doesn’t look nice and smooth, you can slide it off the card, turn it inside out, and voila… most of the time it’s nice then.  Just a little tip to make your knottiness easier.  😉

So, I’ll be back to card making again.  I’m excited.  🙂  Don’t forget, every comment on every card is an entry to win one of every sketch I’ve made and will make until I’ve done them all!  Oh, and here’s the companion one.  It has the other corner of the sheet of paper I used.

  1. I love that stamp. You should get a cut. Where did you buy it from. I love the sentiment on the stamp and the font is so easy to read. I like easy to read fonts. Thanks for the tip on the bow, I will remember that.
