SC179- Our Heroes

This is one of my favorite stamp sets ever. I saw it last week, drooled over it, a friend said, “What if I buy it for you in exchange for a few cards for my son to send a friend. I agreed (I’ll send more than a few!) and it came today! Talk about FAST service.

Frankly, I don’t think this sketch does the stamp justice (odd choice of words considering today and the hoopla over the verdict down in Florida). Anywho, I’ll be making other cards, very different from this one, for my young friend. I don’t really like the sketch. I like the card. It’s “nice” but the sketch is just meh. I am seriously considering going back and MAKINg myself turn every “meh” sketch into something fabulous– when I’m done with the sketches that is.

  1. I think you are too hard on yourself. Sometimes I wonder if your mind goes numb because you follow the sketch instead of being able to add your own stuff to it? That does not sound good, but you know I mean it all good.

  2. I think this looks really good. Not sure where you are getting the meh from. I’d be proud to give it to someone!

  3. OK, I’m working on comments “out of order”. I saw the next one using this first. I have to say, I agree that the newer one is even better, but this one is still nice!
