SC183- Double Blessing

This is a card kit for a friend of mine. She’s stuck on bed rest with twin girlies (they’re impatient to get here, don’tcha know), so I thought she might have fun making thank you cards for the people in her church that are stepping up to take over the things my friend can’t do… you know, cook, clean, take care of the other two children…. hee hee.

I like this card! It’s simple, but it has punch too. 🙂

The hardest part of doing this card was masking the baby in the sack so that it could be stamped over the other one.  See, the one on the left was stamped first.  Then, I put a cut out of one over that, and stamped the second one on top.  See?

Ingredients:

Stamps-  Elzybells “Baby” and sentiment
Paper-  SU Amethyst, Memory Box “Gossamer,” PTI Spring green, Michael’s Harlequin (the colors match better IRL)
Ink-  Memento Black
Tools-  Paper Trimmer, copic markers
Adhesive-  ATG tape, and SU dimensionals

  1. Oohhhh, masking! I’ve heard of that! I don’t think I’ve ever seen it done. I would totally mess that up! So glad the lovely lady with the girlies in waiting will have some of your delicious cards to give out 😀
