SC217- Shootin’ at the Cabin

Frankly, I hate this card. Part of that is because I had a picture of what it should look like and well, it doesn’t. I am so frustrated with this spellbinders die. I purchased it because I love the look of film strips and all those little squares look RIGHT when they’re squares instead of holes like you get with a hole punch. What little squares, you ask? Well, I’m curious too. The die has openings for every single square but um… they don’t cut. It was a huge disappointment for me.

So, once those little squares didn’t get cut out, I really didn’t care much about the rest. It looks blah. And that’s ok. I’m pouting, throwing a tantrum, and refusing to do more. Some other day I may try it again, but I’m tired.

  1. Well, holes or not, this card is really pretty! Sometimes when I don’t like how a card turned out I stick it away for a while and look at it all new after a while and fine I like it more.

  2. Your high expectations. I think it looks nice, but I have no idea what you are going for. I like the stamp. I think it lends itself nicely to be cut into a scene like you did.
