SC315- Bouquet of Well Wishes

chautona-SC315I discovered the other day that I don’t make get well cards. Shame on me. So, when I went to pick a sentiment for this, I decided that they reminded me of a “get well” bouquet. So, here we go. Wellness in a little rectangle. If only.

So as usual, I make two of each sketch. This time I colored them different colors. So, I made slightly different cards.

This one got the cool quatrefoil die from Papertrey INk. LOVE it. It’s so pretty. Makes it look like the DP is even more D and P. MMMMWWWAAAHAHAHA. (That ditty probably needs a bit of TP, no?)

I like the card. It’s not quite as meh as I expected it to be. Don’t love it… it’s not AMAZING. It’s just a decent card that my dear friend Christy will hate due to the color.

Stamps: Elzybells flowers and SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: PTI White and orange and I think MME DP
Ink: Memento and Unity Pallette
Accessories: SU Word Window, Modern label, and the ticket punch as well as PTI Quatrefoil die… and it’s all buttoned up too.
Techniques: colored pencils, dry embossing
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 2… because Susan wanted it when anything is fussy and cutting out those quatrefoil things was just a bit.

Still wishing folks wellness and such. This one annoyed me. That stupid button matched nicely until I got it on the card. Then it went all aquaish on me. It’ll get replaced when I dig out the right colored button. Because I get irked about that stupid stuff.

Since I colored them differently, the blue got the yellow border paper and I minimized the orange.

This time I’m remembering to mention that cool border embossing folder. It really gives it some oomph to an otherwise bland spot on the card.

This one is a bit more “meh” than the last but it’s still a decent card that my dear friend Christy will hate much less due to the change in color. (She will still bemoan that orange, though).

Techniques: colored pencils, dry embossing
Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 1- because I didn’t fussy cut this one. HA!

  1. Well, pooh on Christy, Olivia loves the orange, it is her favorite color after all. I really like these, nice and cheery for one who is sick.
