HK Challenge: Lorna’s Skirt #1

A bunch of gals and I are working on challenges together.  The first was “Make something from your Pinterest.”

I fell in love with this skirt and pinned it.

So, I had this really cool fabric… and I wanted to do it, but I didn’t want to risk messing it up while I figured out a pattern.

Enter, some old Alexander Henry fabric.  I BARELY got the skirt out of it.  In fact, one panel of the back is upside down.  I don’t care.  It’s a play skirt.  Here it is… Prototype of Challenge 1:

The shirt I made for it.

I think she likes it.

Pockets and everything!

THERE IT IS! All done.

The “real” skirt is done except for pockets, hem, and buttons.
